Within the framework of the project "Teach and Learn with Georgia", a joint interim meeting was held between foreign volunteer teachers and local foreign language teachers. During the 4-day meeting, the participants shared accumulated experience and the results of the past period. The meeting also included three training sessions: "Teaching Writing", "School Projects" and "Educational Resources". 35 local teachers and 23 volunteers participated in the meeting.

The project "Teach and Learn with Georgia" has been implemented since 2010, however, in 2014 its goals expanded and the volunteer selection criteria changed: Volunteers shall have at least a bachelor's degree, experience of teaching a language and hold an ESL International certificate. This will enable to recruit experienced staff with appropriate skills in the program.
