TPDC held the Fifth National Conference of Teachers

The National Center for Teacher Professional Development held the fifth National Conference of Teachers "Sustainable Development Goals in Formal and Informal Education". The conference aims to share the best experiences and practices of teachers, promote sustainable development goals and raise awareness in terms of formal and informal education.

The best practices in teaching sustainable development goals in formal and informal education were presented by 44 speakers at the conference. Their experience was based on modern, innovative pedagogical methods and approaches.

The conference speakers were teachers of various grades and subjects, public and private schools, as well as special teachers. In addition, experts working in the field of Sustainable Development presented their reports at the general plenary session.

As for the Sustainable Development Goals, on 25 September 2015, 193 Member States of the United Nations agreed on the Sustainable Development Agenda Document "Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development". The agenda includes 17 goals and 169 tasks. The goals are focused on three interrelated elements of sustainable development: economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection.

TPDC has been conducting the Annual National Conference of Teachers for the fifth consecutive year, which aims to share and learn about the best practices and experiences of teachers.
