International Festival of Science and Innovations has been opened

The International Festival of Science and Innovations has been opened in Rike Park. The festival will be available from 24 September to 8 October and will offer all visitors up to 150 events - lectures, seminars, conferences and scientific picnics across Georgia.

Within the framework of the International Festival of Science and Innovations, the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, the journal "Mastsavlebeli" and the Internet magazine "mastsavlebeli.ge" prepared the best gift for teachers, parents and their readers. All visitors of our stand were awarded with teacher's books issued under the series of the Teacher's Library.

In addition, the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, due to the importance of modern technologies in the educational process, organized an exhibition of technologies which presented the following innovations: measurement of the light (laser) wavelength and its usage for measuring the diameter of the micron series unit on the example of measuring the hair diameter; methods of teaching different aspects of physics provided under the National Curriculum with the help of mobile phone operated robots; the study of rigid movements and determination of free falling acceleration; imagining light and melodies in different colors with the help of "Arduino".

During the Festival of Science and Innovations, a scientific conference "Values ​​and Education" will be held in the scope of the TPDC Educational- Informational Resources Program.
