Trainings held for the Early Intervention Specialists of the blind and partially sighted with multiple disorder children

Within the program "Promotion of Inclusive Education" of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted a training course for early intervention specialists of the blind and partially sighted with multiple disorder children. The course was conducted by Simone Prantley, the expert from Munich, Germany.

The aim of the training was to promote and facilitate the process of preparing teachers, parents and other specialists working with children of pre-school and primary school age.

During the first stage of the training, the participants got familiar with the ways of stimulation of learning and development of children with vision impairment, learned how to prepare handmade materials, and received a practical assignment for the second stage.

The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, Batumi State University, the non-governmental organization of the blind "Mariani" and Makline NGO.
