“Institute of Debates and Education of Georgia” started training on management of school clubs

With the support of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, the "Georgian Institute of Debates and Education" started the training on management of school clubs. School administrations, senior and leading teachers of the schools of East and West Georgia are participating in the training.

The regional clubs / circles platform of the project aims at developing club / circle activities in schools, promoting self-realization of pupils, involving them in school activities and in this way making the school life more diverse.
The training will be held across Georgia within 4 months, and 500 teachers will take part in it.

The "Institute of Debates and Education of Georgia" is the winner organization of the Grant Competition for Professional Development Programs conducted by the National Center for Teacher Professional Development. The competition was announced on June 21 of the current year, aimed at facilitating the professional development of teachers and encouraging diverse, innovative approaches by involving external suppliers.

The National Center for Teacher Professional Development started the process of services decentralization at the end of 2016 and plans several similar events in the future.
