Master class for Georgian language and literature teachers

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the National Center for Teacher Professional Development and the Museum of Georgian Literature, the Museum hosted teachers. Georgian language and literature, as well as history teachers attended a master class on: "Use of museum exhibits for development of learners’ research skills".

The teachers visited the exhibition dedicated to Vazha-Pshavela anniversary, learned about some unknown facts about Vazha's life and work, the writer's personal belongings and illustrations created pursuant to his works.

Ia Ghadua, the Museum spokesperson, who is also a Georgian language and literature teacher, shared with her colleagues her own experience how she uses the museum resources for effective provision of the teaching process. The use of such exhibits will be invaluable for teachers to make their teaching more interesting and improve student's high-level thinking, creativity and critical thinking skills.
