Trainings for Non-Georgian facilitators ended

The trainer trainings which have been in progress within the scope of the project "Non-Georgian school teacher professional development program", has ended. The training participants, who are the program non-Georgian facilitator teachers, will be involved in the trainings as facilitators for non-Georgian teachers in the nearest future and in case of any language barrier will assist the training participants.

To date, 23 facilitators have been trained under the "Non-Georgian teacher professional development project".

The training module for non-Georgian teachers - "Learning process planning, management and evaluation" will be taken by those teachers who after the successful completion of Georgian language course have confirmed to possess A2 level competence in Georgian language. The trainings will be provided in Georgian language.

National Center for Teacher Professional Development has carried out the Non-Georgian Teacher Professional Development Program since 2016 which includes the programs implemented in the previous years: "Teach Georgian as the Second Language" (2009-2015) and "Georgian Language for Future Success" (2011-2015). The program is designed to promote non-Georgian school / sector teacher professional development and improve the quality of teaching and learning through the improvement of state language teaching.
