Training for public school physics teachers

National Center for Teacher Professional Development offers public school physics teachers a training course "School experiments in physics through “PHYWE" laboratory.

A 1-credit training module, which consists of 24 contact and 6 non-contact hours, is designed to enhance the subject knowledge among the course participants and promote the application of laboratory experiments in their teaching process.

The module training materials include the issues included in the physics teacher standards and the National Curriculum. Teachers will learn about the measurement equipment applied in physics laboratory, data collection, sorting and reporting in graphs and tables, measurement errors, their determination methods and the methods for designing and performing laboratory experiments.

The trainings will be held at Ilia State University physics lab.
