Competition announced to teach ethnic minorities the State language

National Center for Teacher Professional Development, under the program "Professional Development Program for Non-Georgian School Teachers,” announces a vacancy for an assistant teacher of Georgian as a second language and consultant-teachers.

The participants selected through the competition will be employed for the academic year 2016-2017 in Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kvemo Kartli and Kakheti region non-Georgian schools and provide the following:
  • Improve teaching quality of Georgian as a second language and professional development of local teachers;
  • Conduct teaching process with local teachers in various subjects in accordance with the National Curriculum standards.
"Professional Development Program for Non-Georgian teachers” is the project implemented by the National Center for Teacher Professional Development which aims to improve the quality of teaching of social sciences subjects and the State language teaching / learning in non-Georgian schools as well as to improve the level of Georgian language competence among the local population and strengthen the process of their social integration.
