National Center for Teacher Professional Development and State Museum of Georgian Literature sign a memorandum of cooperation

From now on public school teachers and students will be able to use the resources of State Museum of Georgian Literature and engage in various cognitive activities organized therein. For implementation of the above objectives the National Center for Teacher Professional Development and Giorgi Leonidze State Museum of Georgian Literature signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The memorandum aims to develop teachers professional skills and educational projects to develop students' research skills as well as conduct events appropriate to the educational policy agreed by the parties and promote the museum through the educational programs.

Under the memorandum, the parties shall conduct workshops and masterclasses to promote professional development of public educational institution teachers and provide students with cognitive lessons, exhibitions, joint projects for development of students' research skills, organize informative meetings and other additional events.

Teachers will be given the opportunity to carry out model lessons, surveys and research and creative learning projects in the museum. For them it will be another opportunity to meet “Teacher induction, professional development and career advancement scheme" challenges.

After the ceremony dedicated to signing of the memorandum, the representatives of the State Museum of Georgian Literature provided teachers with extensive information on the funds and resources of the museum. The event was attended by history and Georgian language teachers.
