Conference was held at Teacher’s House

Teacher’s House hosted the conference -“From Shakespeare to Dickens”, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens. 

The conference was led by British linguists and experts of McMillan Publishing, Luke Prodromo and David Gibson.

The conference was opened by First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze and the Head of National Center for Teacher Professional Development.British experts held their presentations on the works of Shakespeare and Dickens and talked about their role in developing English language. 

The conference was attended by English teachers, professors of higher education institutions and students.

In the scope of the conference, short plays by Shakespeare and Dickens will be performed.
