National Center for Teacher Professional Development Started Meetings with School Principals

Meetings with school principals have started with the aim of effective monitoring of inner-school evaluation process within the “Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme”.

The meetings will concern the school principals’, facilitator’s and teacher evaluation group’s role within the scheme; The meeting will cover issues like: evaluation and monitoring forms and models, facilitator and teacher roles in inner evaluation monitoring process; Challenges and problem tackling of the teacher evaluation groups monitoring and evaluation processes, also the Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme” document development.

Since schools have been involved in teacher evaluation process for the first time, it’s vital that school principals acquire all the skills and knowledge required in successful carrying out the monitoring process within the scheme.
