Meeting held on Inclusive Education in National Center for Teacher Professional Development

National Center for Teacher Professional Development hosted a meeting on Inclusive Education, the reports on carried out activities and future plans have been submitted during the workshop.

Several training-models have been launched at TPDC already, offering trainings not only to Inclusive Education, but all subject teachers. The school principals will also get acquainted with inclusive education concept and individual approach teaching methods.

The trainings aim at promotion of special needs students’ education in schools.

The Norwegian State administered project “Inclusive Education in Vocational General Education” will be launched from September. The training-modules will be designed for deaf and hearing impaired also blind and visually impaired people. Development of books and educational resources are also planned within the project.
