 Teacher’s Professional Development Center provided Geography teachers with video-lecture on Topography issues in school Geography.The lecture has been conducted by Dr. Guliko Liparteliani. An hour-long lecture served the purpose of discussing various important issues including: topographic map scale, frame, map nomenclature, elements of map data, hydrographic, basic items, elements of topographic map content, relief, hydrographs, inhabited areas, roads and flora depicted on topographic map. Also instructions on topography map usage, reading the map, etc.
The mentioned issues appeared to be actual during the meeting with teachers. Teachers say, the lecture eliminated the confusions that previously existed, as the issues are not sufficiently described in the literature available.
