National Center for Teacher Development introduced teachers with 12 new publications and 32 Training Methodology films. The manuals which are especially created for teachers cover 4 basic directions:

‘Development and training theories’;

‘Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education";

‘Effective methods of reading’;

‘Continue history of Georgia’.

Each direction includes several manuals and films.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lia Gigauri and the head of the National Center for Teacher development Gia Mamulashvili opened the event. The presentation was attended by teachers, book authors, education experts, trainers, NGO representatives and technical group members who worked on the films.

Materials introduced during the presentation will play a vital role in the development of reading and writing skills among pupils.
