Teachers’ Professional Development Center conducted first national conference for teachers. The event “Best pedagogical practice at general education schools” has been attended by 150 teachers.

Teachers of various subjects delivered presentations during the two-day conference. Among the participants were teachers of:

• Georgian language and literature;

• Mathematics;

• Science;

• Art;

• Primary education, etc.

Each speaker presented previously prepared lesson and demonstrated various methods of teaching. The contest on participating in the conference was announced in October this year. The subject consultants of Teachers’ Professional Development Center chose 107 best presentations out of 500.

The conference was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
