A seminar “ NATO –Choice for Peaceful and Sustainable Development” organized by “Information Center on NATO and EU “ and NATO Liaison Office in Georgia has been held in Georgia for the 3 years now. Teachers from various regions of Georgia participate in the seminar. On April 6-7, the 13-th seminar is planned where Samtskhe-Javakheti region teachers alongside with their Tbilisi peers will participate.

The seminar aimed at providing teachers with information on NATO goals and objectives, NATO-Georgia relations and the role of Georgia in development of global security. The meeting is also planned with the Director of “ Information Center on NATO and EU “, Ambassador of Republic of Estonian, Head of Euro Atlantic Integration Coordination Department at the Office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and senior experts.

30 Geography, History and Civic Education teachers from Tbilisi and Samtskhe-Javakheti region schools who will be first to register are eligible for seminar participation. (the seminar will be in Russian, so the knowledge of Russian language is preferred)
