National Center for Teacher Professional Development Announces Registration for Professional Development Courses for in-service Teachers

National Center for Teacher Professional Development announces registration for the first part of the 5 credit- Teacher Professional Development Courses. The courses are targeted for the in-service teachers, having obtained the statues- practitioner and having taken the subject group exams.

The first part of the course in concentrated on enhancing professional skills and consists of 2 modules:

· Modern approaches in teaching and evaluation 

· Inclusive education 

The in-service teachers will be eligible for attending the second part of the course only after successfully completing the first part. The second part of the course mainly deals with the subject teaching methodology and knowledge activation.

The deadline for registration for the first part of the professional development course is March 15, 18:00. Upon the first cycle completion, the registration for subject courses will be announced.

The professional development course is carried out within the “Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme”. Attending the courses is one of the mandatory requirements for receiving the senior teacher status.
