National Center for
Teacher Professional Development Director visited the sites in Telavi and Akhaltsikhe, where construction of Teacher Houses are envisioned throughout the Kakhteti and
Samtskhe-Javkheti regions.
Teacher Houses will
attend to teacher professional development needs in the regions, by organizing
various long and short tern training courses, seminars and conferences.
Apart from Kakheti and
Samtskhe –Javakheti regions, construction of Teacher Houses are planned in Guria and Samegrelo regions. Conceptual models for regional Teacher
Houses have already been approved

Giorgi Machebeli has paid a visit to Akhaltsikhe N 1
and Telavi N 9 public schools and granted teachers with newly published Scheme
guideline. The guideline thoroughly covers all the details concerning Teacher Induction, Professional Development
and Career Advancement Scheme ”. The guideline will assist teachers and school
administrators in fulfilling the scheme activities.
