Journal ''the Teache'' has been developed for encouraging teacher professional development, boosting the teacher update, support experience sharing among teachers and popularizing the teacher profession. The journal was first issued in 2008.

The journal aims at improving the quality of schools and teachers in Georgia. The journal closely collaborates with in-service teachers and supports experience sharing among teachers.

The journal offers teachers various educational resources prepared by the Georgian education experts, as well as different educational resources and interviews with foreign experts translated from foreign sources in order to share the best education practices in successful countries.

Journal ''the Teache'' is disseminated throughout Georgia. Each public school and Educational Resource Center (ERC) gets a copy of the journal for free.
