The National Center for Teacher Professional Development has signed contracts with the winner organizations of the grant competition for professional development programs. The selected grant projects will be implemented by the Civil Development Institute, Civil Education Teachers Forum and Georgian Institute of Debates and Education.
The projects have been selected in two directions and they will be implemented from 21 August to 11 December.
The grant competition aims at promoting professional development of teachers and encouraging diverse and innovative approaches by involving external service suppliers.
The National Center for Teacher Professional Development announced the competition on June 21 of the current year. Any commercial (non-commercial) legal entity and / or legal entities of public law incorporated in accordance with the Georgian legislation were eligible to participate in the competition.
The National Center for Teacher Professional Development launched the process of services decentralization at the end of 2016 and it plans to implement a number of similar projects in the future.
