“Millennium Challenge Account – Georgia” Professional Development Project for Teachers and School Directors implemented by the LEPL National Center for Teacher Professional Development, announces registration for the "School Management and Leadership Conference".
The conference is designed for directors of public schools of Georgia.
The aim of the conference is to share the best practices in the field of school management and professional development acquired through the training modules and quarterly meetings. Consequently, the conference can only be attended by the directors involved in the project activities.
"School Management and Leadership Conference" will be held on September 9-10, 2017 at Radisson Blue Iveria Hotel in Tbilisi.
The conference will be attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, international organizations and non-governmental sector and education experts. Directors of public schools, whose reports will be selected through the competition, will be able to share their experiences and achievements with their colleagues and the broader educational community. At the end of each session the discussion will be held.
All participants will be awarded certificates of participation in the conference.
To participate in the conference it is necessary to go through the electronic registration.
The participants will be invited to register for the conference on August 21, 2012 from 12:00 am on the website: www.teec.ge until 12:00 pm, August 24.
The project deems it important that all participants of the conference should have equal opportunities. Consequently, for the representatives of the regional schools of Georgia who successfully go through the registration the project will offer accommodation in the hotel (applicants will receive additional information during the registration).
The first 200 applicants who will meet the following requirements are eligible for the conference:
- Currently is the director of a public school;
- Has been successfully trained in the Modules of Leadership Academy (Academy of Leadership 1, Leadership Academy 2, modules 1-2).
