The National Center for Teacher Professional Development started the training “Development of Learning Resources using Google Earth”. The training was attended by teachers of various subjects of Tbilisi and Rustavi public schools.

The aim of the training was as follows:

· Effective use of electronic resources in the learning process that will help to develop a high level of thinking and 21st century skills among students;

· Effective use of e-learning resources in the teaching process and in planning lessons and learning projects enriched by technologies;

· Development of educational resources using Google Earth's basic tools and effective use of its features in the learning process. 

The training module "Development of Learning Resources using Google Earth" was created within the framework of the Information and Communication Technology Training Program of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development. The course is 0,5 credits worth and consists of 8 contact and 5 non-contact hours.
