The meetings of the Jordanian delegation at National Center of Teacher Professional Development are still in progress. The parties have discussed the Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme, current general education reforms and National Center for Teacher Professional Development activities in the implementation thereof.
According to Mohammad Tneibat, Jordan's Minister of Education, Georgia undoubtedly has a vast experience in the field of teacher professional development, which also accommodates modern western approaches.
The aim of the visit is to explore the process of the education reforms in Georgia, get familiar with and evaluate the political policies towards the teacher professional development developed by the Ministry of Education of Georgia, learn about the Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme and its components.
Jordanian delegation's visit to Georgia will last till the end of the week. During the time, meetings are scheduled with the Ministry of Education of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
