National Center for Teacher Professional Development has started selection of foreign language volunteers, 60 English, French and German volunteers will be selected within the program “Teach and Learn with Georgia”.

According to program manager, Thea Vakhtangadze’s statement the selection criteria have been changed this year and apart from the fact that the volunteers must be native-speakers, practical teaching experience is also mandatory.

41 volunteers have been disseminated to various schools throughout Georgia.

The program “Teach and Learn with Georgia” aims are: enhancing teaching and learning of foreign languages, teacher continuous professional development, introduction of diverse teaching methods and practical application of foreign languages.
