International Consultation company- IREX will provide technical support to the National Center for Teacher Professional Development and Millennium Challenge Account - joint project “ Teacher and School Principal Professional Development”.

Presentation on the consultation component for the “Teacher and School Principal Professional Development” project was held today at Tbilisi Marriot. The Deputy Ministers of Education and Science of Georgia: Lia Gigaguri and Giorgi Saharvashidze attended the event. IREX consultants will work with the project representatives on developing the training modules and other technical issues before the project completion.

“Teacher and School Principal Professional Development” project was launched this year. Continuous professional development of more than 20,000 teachers and all the school principals is envisioned within the project during 3 years. Overall budget of the project is $14 million and is one of the components to the Compact of the Millennium Challenge Corporation to Georgia.
