Vocational Teacher Professional development thematic group switched to discussing the Vocational Teachers Preparation and Professional Development Regulatory Document.

The draft decrees concerning teacher pays and bonuses, administration of teacher registration system, continuous professional development and teacher qualifications have been discussed at the meeting.

The document package have been developed with the technical support of the EU Employment and Vocational Education reform project. International experts worked on the document, although the project discussion involved local experts, Professional Unions, employment associations and other stakeholders.

Upon the completion of the documents package discussions, in-service vocational education teachers and managers of the Vocational Institutions will be involved in the document discussion process. After the processes are over the decrees will be submitted to the National Board of Vocational Education for approval.
