A memorandum was signed between the National Center for Teacher Professional Development and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara .

TPDC will give the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara TPDC developed training modules according to the memorandum terms, whereas the Ministry undertakes the tasks of guaranteeing the organization and financial support of professional development trainings for teachers and staff employed in the education system within the Adjara region.

With the aim of quality assurance of training and other activities granted to the Ministry, TPDC will additionally provide the Ministry with printed material on professional development and carry out trainings monitoring.

The memorandum goal is enhancing the professional development of staff employed in the educational institutions in Adjara and capacity strengthening of the Ministry and its structural units.
