A regional conference “Inclusive education- education for all” was held in Armenian city Dilizhan. Head of the Standards Development and Implementation unit, Marika Sikharulidze presented a report at the conference. The report concerned TPDC policies with regards to inclusive education, current situation analysis, equipping subject teachers with inclusive education competencies, training programs and future plans.

The conference aimed at discussing the best modern practices in the Caucasian region and inclusive education students active involvement in the education processes. The conference also concerned the future plans in improving inclusive education quality in the Caucasian region and eradicating any barriers in that respect.

National Center for Teacher Professional Development is actively involved in developing inclusive education standards and carries out various seminars and trainings in this sphere.
