The
Ministry of Science and Education of Georgia and Teachers’ Professional
Development Center, as well as the company Microsoft Georgia awarded the
teachers. Overall 3 winner teachers were revealed in the competition Georgian
Forum – Partners in Education 2013 .They were awarded with presents.
In the
scope of the contest, teachers presented e-teaching projects on various school
subjects. The works were uploaded on the Microsoft web-site. The best projects
were revealed by the experts of Teachers’ Professional Development Center and General
Education Management and Development Department, National Curriculum Department.
Teachers’
Professional Development Center alongside company “Intel”, Microsoft Georgia
and Innovative Systems
Management awarded the winners of the two nominations:
- Innovative
usage of technologies;
- 1:1E-teaching
with “Buki” (1-3 grades)
The aim
of the meeting was to encourage educational process quality by means of
innovative teaching/learning methods.
The
contest is conducted in partnership with Microsoft Georgia, Intel, USAID
Primary Education Project, British Council Georgia and Innovative Systems
Management. Teachers of public and private schools took part in the contest.
The contest was held for the fifth time in Georgia.
