Teachers’ Professional Development Center is starting training programs for school board members. The training program “The function of school board in school development process and evaluation of school strategic development” includes 8 contact hours and trainings are oriented on several basic directions which serve to help board members analyze:

• The importance and function of General Education, national goals of General Education and characteristic features of a successful school. Also the training is oriented to reveal school development potential and Board’s role in this process;
• Familiarizes them with the importance of strategic planning and implementation stages. Different means of data collecting (SWOT analysis technique, questioner), arrange problems according priority in order to determine the efficiency of school development plan submitted by the principal candidate.
• Evaluate content of the strategic plan of school development presented by principal candidate.
