National Center for Teachers’ Professional Development offers school
and special teachers, psychologists, coordinators of inclusive education and
other specialists who work with deaf or hearing impaired pupils a course in sign
language.
The teaching course involves 60 hours (15 days, 4 hours a day). Upon
the completion of the module the participants will be able to use elementary
sign language and communicate with deaf or hearing impaired pupils. During the
course the participants will be evaluated through 2 tasks; after the completion
of the module they will pass the interview with the specialist of sign
language. Participants who will successfully complete the course will be
awarded National Center for Teachers’ Professional Development Certificate with
the reference that they are able to communicate and work with deaf or hearing
impaired pupils.
