Akaki Tsereteli State University, the
future industrial innovation lab FabLab ATSU has announced the registration for
school Hackathon "JUNIORATSUHACK" and invites VI-XII grade students to
participate in the offering.
Hakaton is free. Interested students
can register online at the "Hackathon Junior" official website http://junior.atsuhack.com , until
December 21.
The II Stage of the Hackathon covers the
period from December 22 until January 14. During the phase, the participants
will take an online test on the official website http://junior.atsuhack.com , which will
be drawn up in compliance with the ICT national curriculum standards. The test
results will reveal students for the next round, and the list thereof will be
published on the official website of the Junior Hackathon.
The stage III of Hackathon will be held
on January 22 in Akaki Tsereteli State University, where the event will be
solemnly opened, the project presented and the results of the first school Hackathon
introduced. The format of the event also provides for the conduct of master
classes, mentor introduction, assigning of participants in teams and elaborating
possible projects ideas.
The teams will also work on the project
in the virtual space, while the mentors will help them refine their ideas. Team
members according to their place of living will work in Fablab in various
cities of Georgia - where as appropriate will use Fablab resources - 3D
printer, laser cutter and other equipment.
The final IV stage will be held on
January 29 in Akaki Tsereteli State University, where the registered teams will
be distributed in the working space, ideas materialized and the jury of experts
will monitor the working process, and after the completion of the process, the finished
products will be presented. On the
same day, the jury will announce winners and the awards ceremony will be held.
