The Georgian Association of Orff, "Geo-Orff", the official representative of the Salzburg Orff Institute of Pedagogy and Mozarteum, is carrying out a workshop and conference for music teachers. The aim of the events is promotion of Orff-Schulwerk method in Georgia which will support professional and vocational development of teachers.

The workshop "Pedagogy and Creative Music Education" will be held on May 14-15 (10:00 to 18:00) – in Tbilisi State Conservatory. The workshop will be led by the following professors: Mr. Polo Vallejo (Spain) and Ms. Soili Perkio (Finland).

The Educational Conference on Pedagogy and Geo-Orff presentation will be held on May 16, 18:00 – in Tbilisi Goethe-Institute. 

“Geo-Orff” is a teachers' professional educational organization based on the theory of Carl Orff, the famous German composer and educator and his colleague Gunild Keetman.
