Teacher’s Professional Standard (The main
part)
The basic part of the teacher’s professional
standard which is common for educators of every subject is divided into 3
main parts: development and learning theories, teaching and assessment and professional
environment. These three parts mentioned above, combine three essential
requirements such as competent professional knowledge, skills providing effective
implementation of knowledge in practice, assessment of pupil’s knowledge and
performance.
Teacher’s professional standard also implies
such important issues as constant wish to improve professional practice, collaboration
with colleagues and parents with the purpose of improving pupil’s performance
and last but not least, willingness to raise a competitive person with free
and critical thinking.
