A working meeting held with the Association of Private Colleges

The National Center for Teacher Professional Development hosted a working meeting with the Association of Private Colleges of Georgia within the framework of the VET Teachers and Directors Professional Development Program.
 
The meeting was attended by Giorgi Machabeli, TPDC Director, Nino Elbakidze, the Program Manager, Giorgi Beraia, President of the Association of Private Colleges of Georgia and Maia Chikhladze, Vice-President.
 
The Association expressed willingness to cooperate with the Center and to involve teachers of private colleges in trainings. According to them this necessity has derived from the process of introduction of dual vocational education, as the decisive factor in dual education is the professionalism of teachers and the pursuit for professional development.
 
The National Center for Teacher Professional Development continues to work on planning further steps.
