Within the framework of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development project "Teach for Georgia", an interim meeting and three-day training was held. 192 consultant teachers participated in the event.
The teachers attended a new training module- "Lesson Observation" developed within the scope of the Teachers Pre-Service, Professional Development and Career Advancement scheme.
In addition to the basic principles and elements of the lesson observation, the teachers learned about the basic rules necessary for the provision of effective feedback.
"This training is very important for the participants of the project "Teach for Georgia ". It will facilitate cooperation with local teachers, "said Lali Tsiklauri, the Project Manager.
The project "Teach for Georgia" has been successfully implemented since 2009. The program aims at facilitating the teaching and learning process by attracting qualified staff and ensuring equal opportunities for education in mountainous regions and in remote schools of Georgia.
