Projects submission for "Teacher -Guide to Europe" has started

TPDC and the NATO and EU Information Center have announced the project competition "Promotion of European Union and European values teaching in schools." The project competition is for public and private school teachers and students.

The aim of the competition is to promote teaching of European Union and European values and best practices in secondary schools, strengthen democratic ideas and help students acquire and deepen knowledge about specific topics.

This competition is the final stage of the conference held in 2016, and it is open for all civic education, history, geography and Georgian language and literature teachers of basic and secondary level.

Projects can be scientific research, educational, applied or of creative nature. In terms of content, projects may include history, geography and civic education issues or be integrated into other educational subjects.

LEPL the NATO and EU Information Center, with the support of National Center for Teacher Professional Development and FES (Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung) have been implementing the project "Teacher – Guide to Europe" since 2014. The project consists of two stages: the first is the conference for teachers - "Teacher - Guide to Europe" and the other is the competition for seminar participants and also teachers wishing to participate in the second stage.

Projects can be submitted from 31 January 2017 to 31 March 2017.
