TPDC is starting teacher registration for eTwinning portal. The program “School Teacher Online System Involvement and Collaboration with the European Countries” (eTwinning Plus) has been carried out by the Center since 2013 which aims at networking, communication and experience exchange between Georgian and European teachers. Within the framework of the Etwinning program, Georgian teachers collaborate with their European counterparts to jointly plan educational projects.

The program enables teachers to join the most vibrant and exciting educational network across Europe. eTwinningPlus Portal https://www.etwinning.net/en/pub/index.htmis the main working environment that offers registered teachers a variety of instruments and services to find partners, and choose and participate in desired projects.

In 2017, Georgian teachers will have the opportunity to carry out projects on eTwinning portal with Georgian partners in Georgian language (partner teachers are to be from different regions of Georgia).

Due to the project specifics, European projects carried out with European partners are considered as priority. Those teachers who will carry out European projects will be allowed to take part in a range of activities and competitions announced under the program, gain international recognition, obtain European Quality mark and participate in a range of international workshops and conferences. As for national projects (in Georgian language) teachers will receive National Quality Mark only. The credit points will be awarded in both cases according to the scheme.
