French language teachers, under the initiative and organization of National Center for Teacher Professional Development, have completed a 12-day training course in "France Langue", the Paris-based training center.

During the course, the teachers were introduced to the Common European framework of language knowledge, teaching with games and songs, error correction and assessment guidelines.

The Georgian teachers were trained by experienced French trainers, who, in addition to the theoretical part, actually shared their practical experience.

The teachers involved in the project were selected through the competition conducted by the National Center for Teacher Professional Development.

National Center for Teacher Professional Development offers various opportunities of qualification trainings to foreign language and physics teachers every year. For the last 5 years, over 200 teachers have taken trainings in various European research and education centers.
