National Center for Teacher Professional Development designs first Georgian peer-reviewed journal for educational researchers

National Center for Teacher Professional Development has designed the first peer-reviewed journal for educational researchers "Science of Education".

The Center, by creating a new publication, aims to promote scientific research in the field of education and integrate researcher teachers in the scientific environment. This will be another new resource and opportunity for teachers and researchers of the field.

Today, the new peer-reviewed journal has been introduced to university rectors, deans of the education faculties, supervisors of education lines and programs, as well as teachers and researchers at the National Center for Processional Development. The event was attended by Lia Gigauri, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.

In addition to the e-journal, today, the Center hosted the presentation of two books “Interactive methods in practice" and "Evaluation: pupil, lesson and school" from the series of the “Teacher Library” published in the framework of the magazine "Mastsavlebeli" and the Internet newspaper "mastsavlebeli.ge".

The Center has already published seven books in this series, which provide an important resource for teachers. The books include mainly teachers’ articles based on personal experience and classroom practices.
