National Center for Teacher Professional Development continues trainings for ICT Teachers. Currently trainings: ‘Basic Intel Course: Project-Based Learning and Integration of ICT Resources” are under way in Georgian schools. The trainings are attended by primary, III- grade and basic and secondary school teachers of various subjects. The trainings are aimed at integrating ICT in project-based learning according to National Curriculum and Teacher Standards.

The course will be attended by 1500 III- grade head teachers and up to 3500 basic and secondary school teachers of different subjects in 2016. 35% of primary school teachers and 17 % of basic and secondary school teachers attended the course last year.

Apart from the above mentioned trainings, TPDC is carrying of Information Technologies Trainings for all level teachers in compliance with timeline.

TPDC aims at improving teaching and learning quality in schools via effective application of ICT in classroom. School administration and teacher trainings in ICT is vital since they can to instill digital culture I in schools and develop competencies of 21 century in students.
