National Center for Teacher Professional Development starts selection of trainers for non-Georgian school teachers’ professional development in mind. The trainers selected on contest-basis will offer various trainings to the ethnic minority teachers in their native languages.

Candidates with proficiency in Azeri, Armenian and Russian languages with high education in specific subjects and 2 years of teaching experience are eligible for contest participation. The candidates with trainings’ experience and high proficiency in Georgian language will be given preferences.

National Center for Teacher Professional Development aims at improving teaching and learning processes at schools through high teaching standards. The non-Georgian school/sector teachers are the important segment of Georgia’s General Education system, the promotion of which is the vital priority of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development.
