National Center for Teacher Professional Development Launches Trainings for School Networks

National Center for Teacher Professional Developmentlaunched the second set of trainings for teachers involved in the “School Network” program. The trainings will last for a month and will cover the issues of effective teaching environment, organizational culture, professional and ethical codes and their reference to the “Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme” self-evaluation questionnaire. The trainings will assist teachers in filling in the questioners and pondering its every single component.

The “School Network” program has been implemented this year and includes 90 school networks based on 353 schools. Each network covers up to 5 schools and school representatives selected on the territorial principle: the school principal, deputy principal, and 3 various subject teachers.

The training “School Collaboration-Collective Responsibility Culture” has been carried out already. The schools obtained information about the program set goals and their reference to the “Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme” requirements, drafted the collaboration plan and inert-school communication standards, defined the necessities and obligations within the network.

All the networks involved in program had consultancies on educational material managements and effective use of teacher developed materials.

The program aims are promoting teacher professional development and teaching and learning qualities at schools via inert-school collaboration and experience sharing.
