Trainings in Nuclear Research European Center

15 Physics Teachers participating in trainings at the Nuclear Research European Center(CERN) arrived in Georgia

Teachers visited various research labs during a week stay in CERN, carried out various school experiments, listen to the lectures delivered by Georgian and foreign scientist about the role of modern physics in development of medicine, information technologies and many other branches. The teachers also had the chance to get acquainted with the methodology on physics teaching offered by an invited expert.

The teachers were selected on contest- basis in summer and their trainings and subsistence costs were fully financed by TPDC.

Around 100 teachers have attended trainings in Nuclear Research European Center(CERN) during the last five years. Apart for physics teachers, TPDC is offering various contests for many other subject teachers.
