A workshop was held on school administration and teacher consultations issues within the “Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme” at the National Center for Teacher Professional Development. The meeting was attended by Trainer-Consultants and Experts.

TPDC Trainer-Consultants will hold meetings with all school principals and deputy principals before September 14, 2015 with the Scheme effective implementation in mind.

One of the scheme novelties is responsibility delegation to schools and teacher evaluation by the school evaluation groups. Also formation of facilitator groups are envisioned at schools, whose major function will be teacher support in professional development. According to scheme the selection of evaluation group members and facilitators must take place within a month from the beginning of the academic year. After the selection of evaluation group members, TPDC will carry out series of trainings for the group members, the first cycle of which will last until the end of the year. TPDC has developed the first part of scheme guideline that will be disseminated to all schools before the beginning of the academic year. 45 Trainer-Consultants selected on contest-bases by TPDC will provide consultations to teachers and schools.
