“Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme”School will be presented by the principals of the Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti region public schools from now on.

The first workshop has been held with the Abasha and Senaki school principals. TPDC expert-consultants and trainers provided the audience with thorough information about the professional development scheme stages and its goals in general.

The meetings in the Samgrelo- Upper Svaneti will last until the end of the week. TPDC representatives will present the scehme to : Martlivili, Khobi, Zugdidi, Tsalenjikha, Chkhorotsku and Mestia public school principals.

“Teacher Induction, Professional Development and Career Advancement Scheme” will be enacted from September , 2015. This is a unified system oriented on teacher self-directed professional development and student success. The scheme aims at turning the profession into a more appealing one, increasing teacher salaries and improving the general education quality.
