5-day Training for French Language Teachers in the National Center for Teacher Professional Development

Giorgi Machabeli, Director, National Center for Teacher Professional Development and the President of the French Language Teacher Association announced the beginning of a 5-day training for French Language Teachers.

Madlen Rombumlick, International Expert in professional development and the representative of the French Language Teacher International Federation, will offer trainings to 20 teachers.

Trainings will cover modern teacher professional development technologies and teaching methodologies. Training participants will get certificates upon the trainings completion. French Language Teacher International Federation will also select 6 teachers and grant them with the Federation Expert titles.

“The criteria for expert nomination will depend on the effective training material comprehension, as well as participants’ motivation, activism with the federation scope, communicative skills, effective lecturing and group management skills” -declared Madlen Rombumlick. The international expert also stated that in spite of pre-defined quota, number of selected candidates may range from more to less.

The project is supported by the International Organisation of La Francophonie, Institut de France in Georgia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
