National Center for Teacher Professional Development Announces Trainings Registration for Public School Teachers

National Center for Teacher Professional Development is starting long and short term professional development programs for public school in-service teachers. Teachers will have an opportunity to take trainings in 16 subjects provided by the National Curriculum:

 

· Georgian language and Literature

· Mathematics

· English Language

· German Language

· French Language

· Russian Language

· Physical Education

· Fine and applied arts

· Music

· Geography

· History

· Civic Education

· Biology

· Chemistry

· Physics

· Primary Education

TPDC allows teachers to select the training location. Registration for the next month trainings will last until June 15. The registered candidates will be informed about the exact training time.

Teachers will learn teaching methodology and strategies, also participate in student evaluation and lesson planning processes.

Trainings will be free for the public school in-service teachers who haven’t taken the trainings before. Courses will be chargeable for all the other interested candidates.
