Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri and Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini met with the school principals and summed up the School Leaving Exams 2011-2012. The meeting was attended by those schools principals whose school students have showed the highest results in the exams.

It’s worth noting, that 5 private schools are among the top 20 schools throughout Georgia. It should also be noted, that in the remained 15 schools most are regional public schools. These highest results were conditioned by the following factors: improved education infrastructure; provision of schools with Einstein laboratories and School boxes.

The quality of education of teachers has improved as a result of intensive trainings carried out by the Teacher’s Houses. In all public schools there are foreign volunteer teachers co-teaching foreign languages with Georgian colleagues. By the statement of the Minister, the results of high school leaving exams showed that Georgian education system is being developed in the right direction and this process is irreversible.
